Carrie Underwood is practically royalty at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville; and fans never get tired of her taking to the stage and wowing them with her super-impressive powerhouse vocals!

Fans are usually amazed by her wardrobe too, although the internet was a little divided about her on-stage outfit during her most recent performance…

Carrie Underwood Wears A Divisive Baby Pink High-Low Dress At The Opry

On Saturday, October 25th, the “Hate My Heart” singer joined musicians including Amy Grant, The Isaacs, Mandy Barnett, and Riders In The Sky for the Grand Ole Opry’s annual Opry Goes Pink event. The night honors Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with a portion of every ticket sold donated to Susan G. Komen to help fund breast cancer research and support programs. The stage itself glowed in pink lights, while the performers dressed for the theme in pink ensembles.

The “Before He Cheats” singer performed hits such as “Burn,” “Someday When I Stop Loving You,” and “Good Girl,” and rocked a baby pink high-low dress while doing so. The dress featured a structured corset style bodice and a flared tutu-inspired mini skirt to reveal her infamously long and sculpted pins, along with a floor-length train at the back. The dress had it all!

The mom-of-two finished off with matching pink stilettos and dazzling drop earrings, while her darker blonde hair was worn in glamorous side-parted soft waves.

Fan Comments

However, as we previously mentioned, the dress wasn’t the unanimous hit her previous outfits are! “What is she wearing? Sorry I love Carrie, but not a fan of this,” slammed one fan on Instagram. “This dress is awful,” bluntly wrote a second, as a third called it an “ugly dress.”

“The dress is absolutely not her and it’s ugly,” echoed a fourth, as a fifth concurred: “Not a fan of this dress.” “Is it me or is the dress crooked?” asked a sixth, as a seventh declared: “The dress gotta go.” “Love Carrie don’t love the dress,” an eighth cleared up. “The fit is unflattering,” thought a ninth, as a tenth called it a “hideous dress.” Ouch!

Not everyone felt the same way though. “Loving the dark hair, looks great. The dress [is] beautiful,” praised one fan. “Absolutely gorgeous dress,” raved a second, as a third exclaimed: “That dress is so cute!”

“Gorgeous dress!” gushed a fourth, as a fifth called Carrie “absolutely stunning.” “So Beautiful. There is no one like Carrie. She is the best,” complimented aa sixth, followed by the red heart emoji.
