Catherine Zeta-Jones updated her followers with some seriously disappointing news over the holidays.
The 51-year-old actress shared a video on her Instagram profile of her elevating her foot that was completely wrapped in ice.

A Christmas-decorating mishap led to the actress having an unfortunate foot injury.
Zeta-Jones explained, “So I was putting up my Christmas decorations and an iron rod that is supposed to be a sculpture, which I don’t even like, fell on my foot and it hurts. Happy Sunday.”

Her followers were quick to check on how she was doing and to send her well wishes.
One commented, "Hope you feel better soon."

Zeta-Jones later updated her followers with the decorations that had led to her injury.
She shared a video of her decorations, captioning it, "Thought I would share the fruits of my labor (or labour, if you are reading this in Britain!) Hurt my foot after completing this still life masterpiece. The pain was worse than labor/labour, but I feel so festive now, but not as festive or a fabulous as the fabulous Mariah Carey. Maybe next year. Anyway, Happy Hanukkah."
Despite the mishap, the actress didn't let her injury ruin her celebrations. On Christmas Eve, she seemed to be in good spirits, wishing all of her followers happy holidays.
She posted a selfie with the caption: "Santa baby, I’m waiting for you! Merry Christmas Eve everyone...sending you all love."
