The see-through dress trend is having a MAJOR moment right now! It seems like every red carpet these days features at least one celebrity in a completely sheer dress.

Take the CFDA Awards last week. On a star-studded pink carpet alongside the who’s who of fashion, Ciara commanded attention in an off-the-shoulder black gown designed by Vera Wang (she was a guest of the esteemed designer). In addition to the dress already being sort of, kinda see-through, it had floral holes throughout, putting the singer’s undergarments on full display. So risky!

Shailene Woodley flashed even more skin at the “Big Little Lies” season 2 premiere two weeks ago. The “Fault in Our Stars” actress wore a Dior dress that basically was just a bodysuit (it featured a sheer overlay for a skirt). She pulled together the risqué look—which worked surprisingly well—with black Christian Louboutin pumps and Az Iza jewelry.

Unsurprisingly, Adriana Lima also wore a very see-through gown on the red carpet—proving that she’s still got it even after hanging up her Victoria’s Secret wings. The supermodel stunned in a low-cut gown with sensual lace detailing at the sleeves and skirt for the amfAR Gala during the 72nd Cannes Film Festival.

Not one to be outdone, fellow VS model Shanina Shaik pulled off a look even more sheer than Lima’s at the same event (we wouldn’t have thought it was possible either!). The catwalker showed off her mile-long legs in a Georges Hobeika gown with a thigh-high slit and a filmy tulle skirt.
