The upside down bikini trend is just what it sounds like: the look involves flipping your bikini top upside down to create an even sexier and more revealing top than you’re your triangle top is right side up. Just a few weeks ago, Olivia Culpo turned up the heat on Instagram in the trendy style while vacationing in Greece.
But now, it’s Addison Rae’s turn. The 20-year-old TikTok star, influencer, and actress showed off her curves in a major way when she shared this snap wearing a purple checkered upside down bikini on the beach.
Captioned, “That’s what I want,” Addison’s September 20th Insta post got over 2.6m likes from her 40m followers. Addison struck a pose in the sand with some gorgeous rocks in the background and showed off her toned figure in a retro upside-down two bikini top and matching string bottoms. To top off the look, she paired her itty-bitty bikini with another summer trend: a bucket hat.
We can always count on Addison to bring a dose of Gen Z style and infuse her look with popular Y2K touches. She recently showed her glam side at the premiere of her Netflix film, He’s All That, and her red hot look at the Met Gala. But Addison’s street and beach style always prove to be winners and this upside down bikini is no exception. We wouldn’t be surprised to see this bikini trend continue in the summer of 2022.
