Celebrities are always pushing the boundaries when it comes to red carpet style—and the most recent trend is ditching pants for leggy looks like we’ve never seen before.
The most recent star to take on the trend? Ashley Graham. The supermodel dazzled on the pink carpet at the 2019 Met Gala in a Gucci look that was custom-made for her by Harlem-based designer Dapper Dan. She wore a plunging checkered blazer that just barely skimmed her thighs. The mile-long legs look came complete with sheer tights and see-through sandals.
Kylie Jenner also gave the trend a whirl in a similar blazer look. The billionaire teamed a white Tom Ford blazer dress with Olgana Paris sandals at the 2019 MTV VMAs. While the 21-year-old is known for her sensual style, this may have been one of her most daring looks ever—and on a red carpet, no less!
The whole teensy blazer dress trend may have been kicked off by none other than Blake Lively. Last April, the “Gossip Girl” actress turned heads at CinemaCon in a Sonia Rykiel navy blazer with a white dress shirt underneath. As for the pants portion of the suit? Nowhere to be found! The star nearly bared it all, flaunting endless legs with pointy-toed Louboutin pumps completing her look.

Our medal for boldest pants-free red carpet look has to go to Hennessy Carolina, sister of Cardi B. Hennessy wore an orange minidress with massive puff sleeves and the shortest hemline we’ve ever seen at the 2019 Grammy Awards. So scandalous!
