Cheryl Burke Shuts Down Ozempic And Plastic Surgery Rumors In New Interview
The professional ballroom dancer originally rose to fame after being a consistent and attention-grabbing cast member of DWTS, where she coached and danced with celebrities for the fan-favorite competition show. After retiring from the series and taking on other projects, she began undergoing a dramatic transformation, where her entire frame seemingly slimmed down.
After some fans and followers began noting her appearance in the comments under her social media posts, with many of them wondering if she had some kind of health issue, the television personality decided to address the differences in her body, giving tell-all interviews about how she lost 35 pounds and the tips that helped her get there.
"It's all about starting from within first instead of the aesthetic of what I look like from the outside," she told People.
"My goal wasn't to lose a certain amount of weight."
Despite sticking to her story that no medications, but simply intermittent fasting, exercise, and a clean diet, got her to where she wanted to be health-wise, the internet continued to accuse her of using weight loss medications like Ozempic. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cheryl firmly attempted to shut down those allegations once again when her interviewer asked her if she's on the GLP-1 medication, has undergone plastic surgery, or is dealing with a health issue, to which she responded, "Absolutely not."
"I have done so much work on myself from the inside out," Cheryl said in her interview.
"I wish the conversation would be more towards that instead of, 'She is on Ozempic, she got a whole facelift, and everything about her has changed,' you know?"
The dancer also said that it made her "sad" to see so many women making these allegations and deep-diving into her transformation instead of supporting her.

Although the 41-year-old seems to be working hard to convince her followers that her total body and face transformation happened through natural changes, they're having a hard time believing her, and are even getting a bit angry with her.
After her latest interview, which was shared on Instagram, internet users accused her of lying about not using some kind of medication or plastic surgery to change her figure, given that not only is she a lot thinner, but her face also looks drastically different.
"Girl, please!" wrote an Instagram user.
"You've undergone a dramatic transformation. Why not own it?"
"Is Cheryl in the room?" asked another.
"Dancing With The Surgeons," joked an Instagram user.
"Makes me so sad when people lie publicly," commented a fan, as another noted, "There is lying going on here."
One Instagram user wrote that Cheryl "looks entirely different," and another added that "she is unrecognizable."
Although the dancing pro has yet to change her tune, we'll be curious to see if she comes out with any more information on her weight loss and overall body transformation as she takes on new projects and re-enters the spotlight.
