Chick-fil-A is one of today’s most beloved fast-food restaurants, and people can’t seem to get enough of it. However, like all fast food, certain menu items can contribute to weight gain and hinder your weight loss journey.

Chick-fil-A is well known for its crispy, indulgent, chicken-based delicacies. Still, they do have a select number of menu items that are macro-friendly and can help keep your calorie consumption in check, especially if you make a few modifications.

A weight loss coach and TikTok content creator named Kelly has gone viral for sharing some of her weight loss-friendly fast food orders, and her Chick-fil-A orders are especially popular, as she still knows how to craft a delicious meal while making a few small changes that can help you save calories. Read more about two of them below.

Grilled Chicken Sandwich & Chicken Noodle Soup

One of the most popular items from Chick-fil-A is their chicken sandwich, and their grilled chicken sandwich offers a lighter option than a fried one. For one of her Chick-fil-A orders, Kelly gets a side order of chicken noodle soup instead of french fries and a grilled chicken sandwich.

"Life hack: always get the side of chicken noodle soup because it's so good and way more filling than, like, a fruit cup, and [it's] more high-protein," she says in one of her videos.

"I also get a grilled chicken sandwich. I switch out the wheat bun and get an unbuttered white bun [to take] a good chunk of calories off."

When she takes her food home, Kelly likes to add pickles to her sandwich as well as her own condiments, like mayo and low-sugar barbecue sauce.

Spicy Southwest Salad with Grilled Chicken

Sometimes, when you're ordering fast food, something draws you towards a salad. Perhaps you're on a road trip and tired of eating greasy burgers or would simply feel a little better if you got some veggies in. Luckily, Chick-fil-A is a great place to order salads, as they have a reputation for putting together good ones.

When she wants a fast-food salad, Kelly gets the spicy southwest salad with grilled chicken. Once again, she takes it home and beefs it up with two added ingredients to save on some calories and add extra nutritional benefits. Before adding any dressing, she puts in a drizzle of sugar-free barbecue sauce and a spoonful of cottage cheese. Then, she adds just half a packet of the honey mustard dressing from the restaurant.

While it may sound a bit odd, she shakes up the salad really well so that everything blends together and creates an almost Chick-fil-A sauce dressing. If you're staying on the go and can't add any ingredients to your salad, you can simply follow her tip of using only half a dressing packet.

"This will quite literally change your life," she says in her video. "This is so good. You're welcome."

Which one of these two Chick-fil-A orders would you try first?
