Love just might be in the air for Chris Rock and actress Lake Bell, as the two were just spotted several times together over the Fourth of July weekend grabbing dinner in Santa Monica, CA. According to an insider who reportedly spoke to People Magazine, Rock, 57, and Bell, 43, “have been seeing each other for a few weeks.”
“It’s a pretty new relationship,” the source allegedly added, “They are getting to know each other and seem to have fun.” Fans might recognize Bell from her roles in films like Over My Dead Body, No Strings Attached, and television shows including Children’s Hospital and Bless This Mess. Like her rumored comedian boyfriend, Bell has starred in many comedic productions.

Rock was previously married to humanitarian and author Malaak Compton Rock, whom he split from in 2016 after 20 years together and welcoming 2 daughters: Lola Simone, 20, and Zahra Savannah, 16. In the years since his divorce, Rock was spotted with and linked to actresses Megalyn Echikunwoke and Carmen Ejogo.
Bell married artist Scott Campbell in 2013, and the two separated in 2020. They share 2 children: daughter Nova, 7, and son Ozgood, 5. The anonymous insider reportedly told People that “Lake [Bell] is a great mom” and that her children are her “first priority,” before her dating life.
