Christina Aguilera, 41, just graced the February 2022 cover of Elle Mexico in a sultry, avant-garde gown and naturally, her fans are in absolute awe of the gorgeous photo shoot.

The singer went Back to Basics with a classic black frock, showing off her admirable curves in the cover photo with a plunging, strapless neckline. Her silver Bulgari necklace drew attention to her décolletage, and she also wore matching elegant earrings.

Aguliera’s dress becomes more interesting below its waistline, as the Terrence Zhou gown is referred to by the designer as his “baddest balloon piece.” The dress expands at the lower hips into a round shape, giving it both a somewhat vintage yet cutting-edge, modern silhouette.
To complete the look, Aguilera slipped elbow-length black gloves onto her arms, rocked a heavy and sharp smokey eye with glittering eye shadow, a glossy nude lip and shimmery highlighter.

Aguilera and Elle Mexico shared a joint post to Instagram on January 24th, revealing the new cover. The publication wrote (in both English and Spanish since the singer is bilingual), “Twenty-three years, nine albums, every possible look, a Las Vegas residency, six stints as a judge on The Voice, five Grammys (and a Latin Grammy!), and two children have passed since ‘Genie In A Bottle’ came out.”
Elle continued, “Christina Aguilera has accompanied us all at some point in our lives and when we think we have seen it all, @xtina reinvents herself and surprises us.
