Christina Aguilera looked unrecognizable in the brand new picture she posted on Instagram. Apart from briefly experimenting with jet black hair almost two decades ago, (it was in 2003 just after she released her iconic Stripped album) the 40-year-old singer has been rocking the blonde hair for pretty much her whole professional life, so we were really shocked to see her undergo such a drastic transformation! We’re not mad about it though – she looks SMOKIN’!
In the super-provocative snap that the Grammy-award-winner shared to Instagram on October 18th, which has since received over 800,000 likes may we add, Aguilera can be seen posing seductively in a black balconette dress, and rocking some elbow-high black gloves on her hands. She’s never been afraid of the sexy outfits, that’s for sure! The red hair – which really brings out her natural and very enviable turquoise eyes – is the biggest talking point though, as we haven’t seen her change up her signature blonde hair for years! She captioned the post, “Pa’ Mis Muchachas,” which came complete with the red heart on fire emoji.

And you can bet that the comments section was flooded with a variation of fire and heart emojis, as well as many other more vocal, hyperbolic comments from fans who couldn’t contain their excitement after witnessing Xtina's dramatic new look. "Honey I just almost fell down a flight of stars when I saw this pic!!!!!" a very excited fan wrote, while another – who seemed even more excited if the caps lock is anything to go by – added: "THE WORLD IS READY!" "OMG I'm Screaming!" added another, while someone else couldn’t seem to find any words to describe their excitement, other than "OMG OMG OMG."
Some of the other comments were a little more articulate, with one fan writing, "Ooo loving this look!" followed by a heart eyes emoji and two clapping hand emojis. "Am I dreaming?" asked another, with three fire emojis, while another made their approval of the new hair color known by writing: "Red hair on you" followed by five heart eyes emojis. We could go on for days, but the overall consensus is that Xtina's fans definitely approve! As do we!
