Getting bakery items from Costco will always be a treat. From cookies and danishes, to muffins and croissants, there are so many delicious baked goods to enjoy at the big-box store company. As a matter of fact, they just added a new item that dessert lovers will want to indulge in.
According to an article published by Eat This, Not That!, sisters who run an Instagram account called @costcosisters recently spotted “Mini Lemon Cakes With Buttercream Icing” at a warehouse in Northridge, California. The report says, “While we don’t know the official description of the new bakery item, we can guess it features a lemon cake topped with sweet buttercream and finished off with white chocolate shavings and a dollop of yellow lemon icing. The new offering is available in a pack of six for $9.99.” Yum!

The internet is obviously excited and the comments section can attest to that. One user said, “This is a NEED” while another one commented, “Running to Costco right now!” Those who have tried the new bakery item shared that they are “so good” and that people should “eat them right now.”
