Dakota Johnson is no stranger to seductive looks, but she still managed to surprise us with her daring sartorial choice for The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday, January 19th. We think it might be the sexiest thing she’s ever worn – and that’s saying something!
The 32-year-old Lost Daughter actress wore a stunning long-sleeved red Magda Butrym mini dress – emphasis on the mini – and we couldn’t take our eyes off her! She teamed her dress with some matching red heels, and her long highlighted brown locks were worn down complete with loose curls, and was, in our opinion, top to toe perfection!
We often wonder how celebs avoid wardrobe malfunctions when they appear on talk shows in super mini dresses (we still have no idea how Taylor Swift preserved her modesty when she appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers back in November) and we could see the fear in the How to Be Single actress's eyes when she was attempting to sit down in her dress without flashing the camera. Ever the pro, she made a joke out of it, along with Corden who, we assume, tried to make her feel more at ease with her struggle.
Corden asked her, "Are you good?" as she sat down, sensing that she was having trouble. After Dakota replied, "No," while trying to cover her legs with her hands, Corden asked: "Are you alright? Are you worried? I think it's alright. Is it alright? Do you want my jacket?" Once she was comfortable and her dress was in a satisfactory position, she said, "No. I’m okay. It’s nothing nobody hasn’t already seen," we assume in reference to her NSFW scenes in the Fifty Shades of Gray movies. It's safe to say she handled that situation like a true pro! And dare we even say, a comedian!
