The 28-year-old singer shaved the back of her head, dyeing the top portion a platinum blonde and chopping it into a chic pixie cut. Going from the long, mermaid locks she rocked at the PCA’s, the dramatic change added extra edge to the star’s already impeccable style.

Lovato posted the first pic of her new style, showing off the shaved back of her head and captioning the Insta, “I did a thing…” She attributed the crop to Amber Maynard Bolt, celebrity hairstylist, who took to her Instagram to show off some fierce photos of Lovato in a range of looks, rocking her new cut.
For the PCA’s earlier this week, Lovato debuted another dramatic hair transformation, beginning the evening with long, dark locks before switching to platinum blonde mid-show! This hair switch she attributed to stylist Paul Norton, who also proudly showed off Lovato’s new ‘do on his social media.
The singer just announced that she will appear on a new song titled ‘My Reputation’ dropping on November 20 with Jeezy and Lil Duval. Quarantine hasn’t stopped her from making her own music either, and she released a handful of powerful ballads over the last several months. Following her dramatic breakup with fiance Max Ehrich earlier this year, Lovato released the song ‘Still Have Me’ where she crooned of the pains of a broken relationship and the solace she finds in herself at the end of the day.
