During the cold winter months, these are the best detox soup recipes that experts recommend to banish the bloat once and for all.

According to registered dietitian Jasmine Carbon, foods which are high in fermentable carbohydrates and sugars are often the cause of bloating. To ensure that your detox soup will not make matters worse, she suggests steering clear of beans, onion, garlic and broccoli, among other veggies which will agitate the gut with their high content of fermentable sugars.
