Dolly Parton, as fans know, has openly embraced her decision to undergo plastic surgery procedures over the years. In a new interview with Saga Magazine, the Grammy winner and style icon, 77, acknowledged regret for certain ones that may have been taken “too” far.
“If something is bagging, sagging or dragging, I’ll tuck it, suck it or pluck it,” she told the outlet, regarding her enhancements and touch-ups. The “Jolene” singer added: “Every now and then you’ll get a hematoma, or sometimes with fillers and Botox you can get too much and have to wait till the swelling goes down to look normal again.”

Parton continued: "It means that instead of being back at work in two weeks, it’s a month." In November 2023, the Steel Magnolias star stopped by the Howard Stern Show and stressed that she doesn't want to "overdo" procedures.
"I try to do just little bits at a time — I don’t do like really big stuff," she explained, articulating her caution in avoiding excessive plastic surgery. "I do fillers, Botox, Juvéderm," she went on.
She added: "Only when I have to do something a little more, and even then, I try to be careful." The "9 to 5" hitmaker attributed her successful procedures to "finding the best" doctors.
"You’ve just got to be very careful not to overdo it because you never know, anytime you go under the knife you could come out looking not good," Parton told host Stern, 69. "It’s always a risk and every time I go in for anything I think 'Oh Lord, please let this all work out fine.'"
As for why Parton pursued plastic surgery in the past, told Saga that she "lost a lot of confidence" from gaining weight at one point. "Any time you don’t look good, you don’t feel as good about yourself," she said, regarding her introduction to plastic surgery years ago.
As her 78th birthday approaches, the renowned country music icon recently displayed her timeless physique during a halftime show at the Dallas Cowboys stadium, igniting a frenzy on the internet.
