Melania Trump’s former Chief of Staff and former White House press secretary has already revealed so much about the Trumps in her tell-all memoir, but she is far from done! I’ll Take Your Questions Now author Stephanie Grisham’s latest confession involves the 75-year-old former president and Virginia ‘Ginni’ Thomas, a long-time conservative activist and the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, saying he always enjoyed his meetings with her because he “loved to gossip — all the time.” Who knew?!
Thomas is currently being investigated by The House Select Committee in relation to alleged text messages with former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows about overturning the 2020 election. The Washington Post reported that the pair exchanged a total of 29 text messages between November 2020 and January 2021, all of which have now been obtained by the panel. But Thomas’ loyalty to Trump is reportedly what he loved so much about her (go figure!) as Grisham told The Daily Beast that she would inform the then president who she deemed disloyal or part of the “deep state” and worthy of firing, and of course who she regarded as loyal and therefore worthy of being hired by the Trumps instead.

"Trump liked Ginni Thomas' White House visits because he loved to gossip," Grisham, who quit the Trump administration on January 6th, 2021 before going on to write her explosive book, told The Daily Beast. "He loved hearing about who was a Never Trumper, or allegedly one. But also, his obsession with loyalty aside, he just loved to gossip — all the time. That's something else he got out of his series of meetings at The White House with Ginni Thomas."
A former senior-level Trump official also added: "We all knew that within minutes after Ginni left her meeting with the president, he would start yelling about firing people for being disloyal. When Ginni Thomas showed up, you knew your day was wrecked."
As per The Daily Beast's report, the alleged lists of loyal and disloyal people given to Trump by Thomas caused a huge stir in The White House, and were allegedly filled with "infamous bigots and conspiracy theorists, woefully under-qualified names, and obvious close friends of Thomas."
The lists were reportedly reviewed by another former Trump White House official, who said they were "so insane and unworkable." They added: "A lot of them were dripping with paranoia and read like they were written by a disturbed person."
