Donald Trump Addresses House Republicans In Washington, D.C.
The real estate tycoon made a lot of headlines this week after he made a memorable appearance at the annual House Republicans retreat at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday.
During his long address, he touched upon several issues and topics related to his presidency, going off on a few 'tangents,' and talking about certain things like immigration, taxes, and more, causing various clips of the speech to quickly go viral on social media platforms. For instance, when he began talking about transgender athletes in sports, eventually doing an impression of someone lifting a dumbbell, the clip quickly exploded onto social feeds.
"You win the presidency, and we sure as hell are having a successful presidency," he said at one point. "I will say that."
While there were some viral moments, there was one thing aside from his speech and words that people could not get over.
The Internet Slams Trump Over His Face Makeup
After clips and photos of the 79-year-old at the retreat started spreading on social media, numerous Americans and other internet users quickly began debating what he had to say. However, there was also one thing that many of them couldn't stop writing about - his signature 'orange' face makeup.
Although the New York native has been known for his signature orange-toned skin and tan for years now, something about the way it looked earlier this week had thousands of people on the internet losing it.
"Who's his makeup artist?" asked an Instagram user. "Cause they need to be fired."
One user responded to that question with, "Their work is diabolical."
"He's so bronze and orange," commented another.
"What is he putting on his face?" asked a user.
We'll be curious to see if the President's use of tanning foundation or makeup gets stronger or lighter in the new year, but right now, he's certainly starting with a bang.
