A raw bar filled with more than enough stone crab claws, oysters, shrimp, and other big ticket seafood items was topped with a giant ice sculpture carved with the words "Merry Christmas!" The whole display was quite luxurious, and it didn't sit right with many Americans, especially following Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act of 2025.
The act, which Trump recently signed, limits the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) eligibility for groups like immigrants and young adults. The move sparked outrage among American citizens, many of whom rely on SNAP benefits in order to put food on the table for their families.
