Donald Trump was quick to call Joe Biden too old to be in office when he was campaigning against him, but now that he’s president at the same age that Biden was, there’s no discussion from his administration about what age is really too old to be president. At 79 years old, Trump just tripped up the stairs while boarding Air Force One, prompting many on social media to call him “elderly.” Keep reading for more information.

Donald Trump Trips While Boarding Air Force One
In a video clip posted to X, formerly Twitter, Trump can be seen in his usual suit-and-tie uniform boarding Air Force One via the staircase armed with hand rails. Despite holding on to the railing as he climbed the steps, he still stumbled on his way up. To caption the video, the original poster asked, “Is he getting too old?”
After Joe Biden had a similar stumble while boarding Air Force One during his presidency, Trump and his supporters were quick to claim that he was clearly too old to be holding office. Yet Donald Trump, who is now in the same age range, has quieted down with his accusations of individuals ever being too old to be the president.
Social Media Reactions
In the comment section, many users were quick to answer the original poster's question with an astounding, "Yes, he is too old!"
"He looks so orange and elderly," another person said, commenting on the unusual amount of orange makeup that Trump is never seen without.
"He's too old and feeble to lead," one user posted. "He needs to step down."
"Old, unstable man," added a fourth person.
"This guy isn't going to last four years physically or mentally!" a final user posted.
