Donald Trump Claims He's More Popular Than Taylor Swift
According to Rolling Stone, Trump's inner circle realizes that because Taylor Swift has supported Joe Biden in the past, it's likely that she'll do it again in 2024. Back in 2020, Taylor Swift simply encouraged her fans to register to vote, and with one post, over 35,000 fans signed up.
The same year, she told V Magazine, "The change we need most is to elect a president who recognizes that people of color deserve to feel safe and represented, that women deserve the right to choose what happens to their bodies, and that the LGBTQIA+ community deserves to be acknowledged and included." And with a fanbase as large as hers, what she says and who she supports isn't taken lightly.
Except by Donald Trump, apparently, who thinks he is "more popular" than Taylor, and that his fans are more committed than hers, according to Rolling Stone. Trump's senior advisor Jason Miller supported this idea, telling Rolling Stone, "Joe Biden might be counting on Taylor Swift to save him, but voters are looking at these sky-high inflation rates and saying, 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,'" referencing Taylor Swift's hit song.

Twitter is now full of users slamming Donald Trump for even thinking that he's more popular than Taylor Swift. "Donald Trump only attacks those he is afraid of," one user wrote. "So Trump is TREMENDOUSLY scared of Taylor Swift."
"Let's be honest," another said. "Taylor Swift is more popular than AND was not handed a $400M inheritance like Donald Trump!"
Late night TV show host Jimmy Kimmel also shared his thoughts, saying on Jimmy Kimmel Live: "Taylor Swift is so popular, people want to watch her watching a football game. If Donald Trump had a rally at SoFi Stadium here in L.A., they would still have enough empty seats to also hold a Taylor Swift concert that night."
"Taylor Swift is way more popular than Donald Trump, nationally, and especially globally," another user added.
