Donald Trump Doesn’t Wait For Melania
The Twitter user who posted the video shared this caption: “Perception is everything to the Trump Family so Donald’s lack of ‘chivalry’ towards Melania is quite a ‘tell.’ Chivalry for Donlad was waiting for Melania to go first & ensuring she walked by his side. He’s been doing neither recently.”
The video is a series of clips of him and Melania, both from during his presidency and the present. In the videos from years ago, Donald waits for his wife to join him at his side before going anywhere, and assures he stays by her side, even placing a hand on her lower back to guide her in some videos.
In the newer videos, however, Donald Trump walks ahead of Melania, and makes no effort to walk as a unit as he once did. In nearly all of the videos, the businessman barely even acknowledges her as she walks paces behind him or chats with other members of their group. Whether or not this is a series of coincidences or if this is really a symbol of a potential rift in their relationship is what’s up for debate in the comment section.
