Donald Trump has once again seemingly fallen asleep during an official event at the White House, and the internet can’t get over it.
The president was filmed and photographed falling asleep during a recent cabinet meeting, which is not the first time he’s appeared to have done so. Once footage of him gradually closing his eyes and seemingly fighting himself to stay awake was shared on the internet, users quickly began to flood the comments sections with lots of criticism, including messages related to his age. Read more about the incident and what social media users had to say below.
Donald Trump Appears To Doze Off During A Cabinet Meeting
Earlier this month, on December 2nd, Donald Trump attended a cabinet meeting at the White House, where various lead members of his administration spoke.
Although the president might've started off the meeting more engaged and alert, many couldn't help but notice how, as Secretary Howard Lutnick was speaking, he seemingly began to doze off, struggling to keep his eyes open as he listened from his seat.
Later, as seen in multiple clips from the event, as Education Secretary Linda McMahon and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took their turns to speak, Trump was seen with his eyes closed for a more prolonged period of time, making it apparent he was falling asleep.

Social Media Slams Donald Trump Upon Seeing Footage Of Him Falling Asleep
Given that the cabinet meeting was filmed and later shared online, various media outlets and social media users focused more on the clips of the president dozing off than they did the content of the meeting itself. On platforms like Instagram, internet users began fleeing to the comments section, slamming the 79-year-old for his behavior, primarily due to his history of teasing Joe Biden for his age, often referring to him as "Sleepy Joe."
"Dozing Don," joked a user, as one called the president "anti-woke."
"80-year-olds shouldn't be in the office making decisions!" commented a heated user.
"Not fit for president," added a user. "Time to remove him."
"Just way way too old for office," agreed another.
