Donald Trump Has Reportedly Lost 30 Pounds Over The Years
Since his first administration, which came to an end in early 2021, fans and internet users have been fascinated by Trump's physique and his fast-food-filled diet.
Reports and whispers came out that he had used procedures like liposuction over the years to stay somewhat fit, and after his first weeks in the White House, reports came out about his diet. According to inside sources, the president used to spend much of his days eating burgers and sandwiches from McDonald's, as well as a few meals prepared by White House staff that seemed to cater to a picky eater, including a well-done steak. He also allegedly had a strong love of Diet Coke, drinking it instead of coffee and consuming several cans a day.
Since then, the New York native has reportedly cleaned up his diet, and once he did, he began seeing some progress. While being interviewed by Fox News last year, the president acknowledged his slimmed-down appearance and addressed any weight loss drug allegations, stating that he had been losing weight "the hard way."
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. & A 'Fox News' Host Reveal One Of Donald Trump's Diet Secrets
According to inside sources, including Trump's appointed Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the president still loves a fast food meal and has found that making small changes has made a significant difference in his weight.
In March, the environmental lawyer was interviewed by Fox News and talked about the changes the president had been making, stating, "I saw him yesterday and I think he's lost 30 pounds."
Fox News host Sean Hannity responded, "He looks great. And he told me, he's not using… for example, if he has a burger now, he usually doesn't have it with a bun."
For a man who eats a lot of burgers and sandwiches from fast food restaurants, it goes to show just how effective cutting out refined carbohydrates can be. Since his first administration, some insiders have noted that his wife, Melania, has also stepped in and begun monitoring his health more, encouraging him to cut out excess junk food throughout the day.
When fans saw before-and-after pictures of Trump online over the last year, and got to see evidence of his weight loss, aside from some Ozempic speculations, others left positive feedback for the changes he was making.
"Good for him," commented an Instagram user.
"He really looks better," added another.
