And the 50 First Dates alum has been slammed online once again, this time because of her “cringe” interview with Vice President Kamala Harris on The Drew Barrymore Show.

The cringe-worthy moment took place when the mom-of-two asked Harris if she could become a mother to the country. "I've been thinking that we really all need a tremendous hug in the world right now," Barrymore began, adding: "But in our country, we need you to be Mamala of the country."
Harris laughed after Barrymore had finished speaking, and nodded her head repeatedly. She then replied: "Yeah. I mean, yeah, no, I know.”

This exchange was mocked throughout social media, with author Oli London writing on X: "Drew Barrymore participates in cringe worthy and fawning display with Kamala Harris." Canadian professor Gad Saad replied: "Is this possible? Could a society delve into such an infantile orgy of mediocrity that this is considered compelling?"
