Dua Lipa stunned in an incredible velvet off-the-shoulder Burberry look at the event on October 18th. The brunette beauty even took to Instagram to share snaps of her look, garnering over 1.8m likes from her 87m followers. Dua’s stunning dress had a very plunging neckline, a bow at the back and a train for extra glam and drama. She accessorized with long mesh gloves for a little edge.
As far as her makeup, the “Future Nostalgia” songwriter kept it subtle with glowing skin and glossy lips, and her hair was in a half-up-half-down style. She added cuff earrings and kept the rest simple—truly letting her show-stopping velvet ‘fit shine. Dua is a big Burberry fan—and serves as the fashion house’s muse in many ways.

Dua was in royal company at the 2022 Booker Prize ceremony— Queen Consort Camilla was also in attendance. The event celebrates the year’s nominated writers, and as an avid reader herself, Dua was excited to be there.
She shared with the audience at the event, “Good writing has the power to make people feel seen and heard, to tell stories that the world has ignored. We all just want to love and be loved and find our place in the world, and authors really help us to do that.” This year’s Booker Prize winner was The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida by Shehan Karunatilaka.
