Dunkin' Donuts Brings Back Limited-Edition Merchandise To Promote A Good Cause
Earlier this month, Dunkin' Donuts released a news statement about all of the exciting promotions they were coming out with to celebrate their partnership and fundraising for the Joy in Childhood Foundation, a charity dedicated to battling children's hunger and illness. One of the promotions was that on National Iced Coffee Day, which was June 18th, the restaurant chain donated $1 from every iced coffee or cold brew order to the charity.
Another promotion is that they will also donate their proceeds from their online merchandise shop, ShopDunkin.com, to the charity. To up their game, they decided to bring back a special merchandise item that was sold out after their big-budget 2025 Super Bowl commercials. One of the site's priciest yet most iconic items is the DunKings tracksuit, consisting of a matching jacket and sweatpants.
The suit was notably worn by famous actors Ben Affleck and Matt Damon in their commercials for Super Bowl LIX, where they embraced their Bostonian accents and promoted the brand with comedic bits.
Fans React To The DunKings Merch On Social Media
The tracksuits were around for a while in 2024, and eventually sold out, but made a return after the Super Bowl commercials went viral. The demand for them was so intense that, for a while, it took a long time for fans to get their orders due to so many people ordering them.
Back when Dunkin' previously dropped the suits in February, fans flooded social media with comments about how cool the tracksuits were and how badly they wanted one.
"I'm ready to suit up," commented a fan on Instagram.
"Dunkin, I love you," added another.
"I want one!" wrote an Instagram user.
"Yes, I love these!" added another.
"These are so cute," commented a customer.
While they weren't available for a while, now, Dunkin' fans and customers can get their hands on the tracksuits and other pieces of fun, colorful merch. Plus, there's an added bonus, which is that the funds put towards the signature pink and orange merchandise will go towards a good cause.
