Reese Witherspoon graced the red carpet premiere of Where The Crawdads Sing in New York City this week in a dress that Elle Woods would certainly approve of! The Oscar winner, 46, supported the upcoming film she produced in a glamorous, pink, ruched Emilia Wickstead-designed item and posed for photos at the Museum of Modern Art event.

Witherspoon’s gown featured a low-cut, square-shaped neckline and a timeless pleated skirt. Along with her chic knee-length, curve-hugging garment, the Big Little Lies star rocked glittery heels and accessorized with a gold bangle bracelet on her wrist and chunky rings. To top it all off, Witherspoon wore her signature blonde tresses down, parted in the middle and styled into elegant, loose waves.

She shared her premiere look with her 28.1 million followers in two Instagram posts— one that included a photo with the film’s stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, 24, Taylor John Smith, 27, and Harris Dickinson, 26, and a behind-the-scenes video of the Walk the Line alum getting ready for the soiree.

Fans in her comment sections were quick to reference Witherspoon’s Legally Blonde character (a fond lover of all things pink!) “Omg this dress makes me think of Elle Woods, stunning!!” wrote one user while another added, “gorgeous Reese as always.”
