Ellen DeGeneres announced that she tested positive for coronavirus on December 10, and the talk show host has been keeping fans updated with her symptoms since then
Fortunately, it sounds like DeGeneres is doing well so far, and she even said that she felt “100%” seven days after her shock announcement. So although fans were definitely concerned when DeGeneres first announced the news, it sounds the 62-year-old is not suffering too much despite her diagnosis.
The talk show host took to Instagram to share the news, filming a video for her feed, which she captioned, "A little update."
In the video, she told her followers that she was "feeling 100%."
“I feel really good,” she said, except for one surprising symptom.
According to Ellen, she has been suffering severe back pain as one of her symptoms.
"One thing that they don’t tell you is that you get, somehow, excruciating back pain." she said. "Didn’t know that was a symptom, but I talked to some other people…Who knew? How come?"
The Ellen Show host also made a point to thank her friends and fans who have sent her well wishes.
"Thank you to all the well-wishers out there. I appreciate it very much," DeGeneres said.
She finished up the short video by playing a speedy game of Connect Four with wife Portia de Rossi.
