Emma Stone dazzled onlookers at the 2024 Golden Globes as she graced the red carpet in a glittery champagne custom gown from Louis Vuitton. The elegant frock featured a bold high center slit, and it was adorned with delicate pink and blue floral embellishments.
The acclaimed actress, 35, added nude, open-toe sandal heels, double dangly silver earrings, a radiant ring with a yellow gemstone and a dark crimson mani and pedi to top off her look. At the Los Angeles ceremony on January 7th, Stone scored the coveted ‘Best Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy’ award for her role as Bella Baxter in the 2023 film, Poor Things.

As for her awards show glam, the La La Land alum wore her shiny red tresses down, parted in the center and styled into an Old Hollywood-esque straight bob with flipped-out ends. For her makeup look, Stone opted for subtle sparkly eyeshadow, voluminous lashes, rosy blush and a trendy dark mauve lipstick.
Stone was also nominated for the 'Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Drama' award for her work in The Curse. That trophy ultimately went to Sarah Snook for her performance as Shiv Roy on Succession. In Stone's acceptance speech for her Poor Things role, she thanked director Yorgos Lanthimos, her co-stars, the film's crew and her husband of four years, comedian and writer Dave McCary.
"This is amazing, thank you. Dave, I have to start with you really quickly," she began her speech. "I love you very much. Thank you for everything!" Stone and McCary tied the knot in 2020 and share one daughter, Louise, whom they welcomed in March 2021. Stone then thanked fellow stars Willem Dafoe, Mark Ruffalo and Ramy Youssef. She credited her cast mates for making "every day an absolute joy" on set.
"The [film's] crew [is] incredible. Tony [McNamara], this is our third time working together. Tony, our writer," Stone continued. The Oscar winner added: "I love getting to say this dialogue, and I love getting to horrify you with my Australian accent. You're the best Tony." The Easy A star then thanked the film's director. "Yorgos, I don't know what I could say to you that I haven't said to you already. But I will forever be grateful that we met. Forever. And playing Bella was unbelievable."
Stone added, of the buzzing comedy and fantasy flick: "I think this is a rom-com. I see this as a rom-com, but in this sense of Bella falls in love with life itself rather than a person, and she accepts the good and the bad in equal measure. And that really made me look at life differently." She concluded: "And that all of it counts and all of it is important. And she has stayed with me deeply, so this means the world to me. Thank you so much."
In the Lanthimos-directed, surrealist, sci-fi rom-com (based on the 1992 novel of the same name by Alasdair Gray) Stone stars as Bella Baxter, a woman brought back to life by scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter, played by Dafoe.
