Eva Mendes is one of those actresses who is often told she gets better-looking with age, and one of her latest makeup-free appearances seemed to prove it.
The actress was caught walking around her and Ryan Gosling’s alleged new neighborhood in London makeup-free, proving she’s not afraid to show off her bare face. Her stepping out was a notable occasion, as it was one of the first times photographers saw her since reports came out that she and her actor husband, along with their two children, moved to London. However, she took to social media to speak her mind about those reports. Read more about her appearance and alleged move below.
Eva Mendes Is Photographed Makeup-Free In London
Although she might have stepped away from taking on a bunch of acting projects, the Hitch star has been taking on all sorts of other projects and is still finding herself in the public eye.
In 2014, she took on her last film role and began speaking out about how she made the decision to take a break from her acting career, focusing on other goals and, more notably, staying home more often to take care of her and Ryan Gosling's two daughters, Esmerelda and Amada. Since starting her break, she's written children's books and, more recently, collaborated with famous designer Stella McCartney on some chic clothing.
She's been spending a lot of time in London, and around Halloween time, stepped out to run some errands with no makeup on, and was photographed by paparazzi. She was with her daughter and wearing a cozy fleece jacket, a sage-colored dress, and a blue baseball cap. You can see photos of her here!

Eva Shuts Down Rumors That Her Family Has Moved To London
This is not the first time the 51-year-old has been seen in the UK, as she's been photographed rocking the no makeup look on London streets a few times this year. While she was presumably working with McCartney, a UK-based designer, some reports and rumors came out that she was living there for good.
Given there's a trend going around with celebrities leaving the United States for the UK, like Ellen DeGeneres, rumors came about that Eva and her family had done the same. Stories came out about them "fleeing" the United States, but the former actress took a moment to shut them down.
Not only did she write that a media outlet was "wrong" about their move on her Instagram story, but when the Los Angeles Dodgers were playing in the World Series, she shared a post writing, "Can't wait to get back home and celebrate the @dodgers World Series championship!"
Insiders have come forward to note that while the family did not move, they've been spending more time in the UK as the La La Land films for the upcoming Star Wars movie, Star Wars: Starfighter. Either way, many fans agree that Eva is looking great for her age as she struts around her temporary London digs with a makeup-free face.
