Kristen Bell just traded her signature blonde tresses for an unexpected (but still super cute) new hair color— purple! The Good Place alum, 41, showed off her newly lilac locks with her 15.4 million Instagram followers in a joint selfie post this week with her husband, Dax Shepard, 47.
The iconic couple sweetly posed on a street in Salzburg, Austria while on vacation and Shepard captioned it in German, his message translating to: “I’m very happy! Am sexually attracted to my partner.”Bell reposted Shepard’s upload, and fans began commenting in favor of her new hair (which can be seen with purple ombre dyed tips). “Purple perfection,” wrote one user with an applauding emoji as another added, “Omg your hair!!! So beautiful!”

Other eagle-eyed fans noticed that Bell wasn’t the only one with a new ‘do, as Shepard (upon second glance) can be seen sporting purple tips too! “Splitting the same hair dye is a FB power couple move and I support it,” another wrote while other fans dropped heart-eye emojis and dubbed Bell and Shepard “the cutest couple.” (We agree!)
To complete her look, Bell gadded subtle mascara to draw more attention to her crystal-blue eyes, and rocked rosy blush along her cheekbones along with a nude lip. So, this begs the question— is purple the new color for summer 2022 hair? We’ll have to see, but there’s no denying how well Bell and Shepard pull off the hue!
