Most people bust out their lightest fabrics and their brightest and boldest colors for the summer – but Gigi Hadid isn’t most people! The 27-year-old supermodel broke the sartorial rules on August 5th, when she was snapped strolling in NoHo, New York City wearing an all-black ensemble that definitely made her stand out among the crowd for *so* many reasons!
We bet the mom-of-one was the only person not wearing an inch of color on the streets of the Big Apple – but in true catwalk model fashion, she made it work! In fact, she absolutely slayed, and she looked hot in both literal and figurative senses of the word! How does she do it?!

For her casual stroll in NYC, Gigi’s all-black ensemble consisted of some baggy, straight-leg jeans and a black, sheer, short-sleeve cardigan, which she wore open to show off her super-sculpted abs. Well, that’s one way to get some breeze and feel a little cooler in the hot temperatures!
The model accessorized her casual ‘fit with some Converse sneakers and some round black sunglasses, and wore her hair in an effortless down do; while for jewelry, she kept things minimal with a simple choker necklace.

And that wasn’t the first time Bella Hadid’s older sis has been wearing seasonally unconventional pieces, as just a few days earlier (on August 3rd to be exact!) she was spotted in yet another weather-inappropriate ensemble. Although she was wearing a combination of bright colors (so far so good) that’s where her summery ‘fit ended, as her multicolored crop top was in fact made of a knitted fabric. Yes, seriously!
We have no idea how Gigi wore a knitted top (even if it *was* cropped!) in the sweltering NYC temperatures; and how she looked so cool (again, literally and figuratively) while doing so! Gigi paired her multicolored knitted crop with oversized ripped Danielle Guizio jeans, a bucket hat, and Converse sneakers, as well as some on-trend shades.
