Gigi Hadid, known for being very private when it comes to family, shared rare photos including her two-year-old daughter Khai to Instagram this week.
The model shared a multi-photo post to the social media site captioned, “Some stuff I thought about posting the last few months but forgot lol srry ly part 2.” The carousel of pictures included a rare glimpse of Khai alongside her famous mom.

"To the Paparazzi, press, and beloved fan accounts, you know we have never intentionally shared our daughters face on social media," wrote Gigi in an open letter posted to social media in 2021. "Our wish is that she can choose how to share herself with the world when she comes of age, and that she can live as normal of a childhood as possible, without worrying about a public image that she has not chosen. It would mean the world to us, as we take our daughter to see and explore NYC, and the world, if you would PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE blur her face out of the images, and if and when she is caught on camera, I know it’s an extra effort, but as a new mom, I just want the best for my baby, as all parents do…"
The model also shared a "huge 'Thank You'" to the paparazzi that, to that point, had been respectful and kept their distance when the new mother was out with her daughter on the streets of New York City.

Gigi's recent Instagram post closely followed her pledge to keep Khai's privacy intact, as no images of her daughter's face were shown in any of the pictures. The carousel began with a sweet Mommy-daughter snap of Gigi holding her daughter's hand; in an earlier "part 1" multi-picture post, Gigi was shown holding her daughter against her hip, Khai's face obscured by her mother's shoulder. The slideshow also included a picture of Gigi's birthday cake, with the message "Happy Birthday Mommy, I Love You, Khai" iced on the top.

Followers of Gigi's Instagram were thrilled with the shared family snaps, and quickly remarked on the inclusion of Khai in the photos, even despite her face not being shown. "SHE'S SO BIG WHAT!!!!!" wrote one fan in shock. "Damn khai grew so much I feel like I'm oldd," agreed another.
"Omg, so cute Khai," marveled one commenter. Another fan enthhused, "You + khai = d besttt duo".
The supermodel, though protective of her daughter's privacy, has shared updates about the tot's progress over the years.
"I think she's a genius," Gigi said on a September episode of Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist. "But I think that's what everyone says about their kid. It's so much fun. The more that she talks, and understands, and remembers, it just gets more and more fun. And she's a blessing."
