Gwyneth Paltrow and Apple Martin Star in Gap's New Fall Campaign
In a press release, Gap President & CEO Mark Breitbard revealed, “Gap has always been known for campaigns that bridge generations and shape cultures. Partnering with Gwyneth and Apple continues that legacy, offering a fresh perspective on timeless design.”
While Apple is gradually stepping into the spotlight, she’s already faced criticism, including entitled behavior at a prestigious ball. Luckily, she’s learning from her mom how to navigate the public eye with grace.
"I feel like I'm finally getting to the place where I don't really care what people think. She influenced me," she said to Vogue.
Of course, social media didn’t hold back when it came to the nepotism, as they shared their reactions online.
“She looks great, but I’m so tired of this “Age of the Nepo Baby” in the fashion industry!!!!” Said one user. A second wrote, “Why do celebrity kids have to mimic their parents?” A third commented, “Parents with benefits.”
Apple Martin Faces Backlash for Modeling Gigs
Just recently, Apple scored a fresh modeling gig with luxury brand Self-Portrait.
On Tuesday, Sept. 9, the fashion house announced its collaboration with Chris Martin's daughter, unveiling the news through a series of mirror selfies captured by Apple herself. In one look, she rocked red pocketed shorts with button details, paired with a crisp white T-shirt. In another video, shot in the self-portrait style, she switched into classic jeans with the same baby tee featuring black hems, casually seated on the floor.
Social media users took to Self-Portrait’s Instagram comment section to express their thoughts on the brand choosing a nepo baby as the new Miss Self-Portrait.
“NEPO makes me sick,” said one fan. Another user commented, “I’m shocked. A celebrity’s child who wants to be a model.” A third wrote, “Nepotism at its finest.” A fourth commented, “Just another nepo baby.” Someone else sarcastically said, “Another celebrity child being a model. Nepo baby. No way.”
