The fashion of the late ‘90s and early 2000s are back and, tbh—better than ever. From barely-there crop tops to ultra-low-rise mini skirts—celebs are bringing the best of the the aughts to 2022. While Bella Hadid was definitely ahead of the curve on this trend, other celebs are supermodels, including Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber are jumping on the bandwagon.

Kendall took to Instagram on April 19th to share a snap with her bestie, Hailey. Captioned “818 nights” Kendall’s post got over 7m likes from her 233m followers. We know she was promoting her tequila brand, but our focus is on her and Hailey’s y2k outfits and matching locks. Both models showed off their legs-for-days in matching mini skirts and knee high black leather boots. Their auburn and coppery brown hair is also perfectly tousled and their subtle but glowy makeup even matches. We never though of these two as twin flames—especially since Hailey’s married and Kendall is happily dating—but based on these looks alone these two supermodels are a match made in style heaven.
Both beauties have been loving a throwback trend lately. Kendall recently wore a super short crochet halter dress on IG that instantly transported us to a 2000s summer. On her end, Hailey stepped out in the miniest of mini skirts recently while supporting her boo, Justin Bieber, on tour in Miami. And on top of the revival of crochet, crop, tops and mini skirts—celebs, including Kendall have been loving the ‘90s supermodel essential: the slip dress. The 26-year-old is no stranger to a slinky slip dress, and just last week she stepped out in a stunning vintage Jean Paul Gaultier slip dress that left us speechless. And other models, including Bella Hadid, recently stepped out in slip dresses too—we still can’t get over the completely sheer one Bella wore during fashion week.
