Hailey Bieber just stepped out with husband Justin Bieber in LA this week, and while the power couple’s public appearances always cause a stir this one was particularly important–and mostly because of her choice of footwear.

The 22-year-old is seen wearing Vans’ Sk8-Hi Check Foxing slip-on sneakers in the Racing Red in paparazzi photos. That matters because the shoe has almost completely sold out online since Bieber debuted them at Coachella earlier this year. And she’s worn them a whopping five times since. Do we think this means that the red sneakers trend is about to heat up? Yes, we do.

Firstly, Vans checkered sneakers are always in style. And for those of us who are oh-so-ready for a new sneaker trend beyond basic white, we welcome these cherry red high-tops with open arms. And look how many ways she’s styled them!

Alas, her exact pair is only left in size 5.5 on Tilly’s as of press time, but you can get a very similar style from the brand–sans the checks. Shop now:

Her exact pair of VANS Check Foxing Sk8-Hi Racing Red & True White Womens Shoes ($64.99) from spring 2019 are almost completely gone. Just one size is left!

These Vans SK8-HI ($65) are an exact look-alike of Hailey's kicks that you can get now.
