This news comes following the rumors that Jackman is dating his The Music Man co-star, Sutton Foster, who is still married to her husband of almost ten years!

Hugh Jackman And Deborra-Lee Furness' Shock Divorce Announcement
2023 has seen a lot of shocking celebrity break-ups, including the divorces of Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth as well as Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas to name just two. But no divorce announcement was more shocking than Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness, who announced that they would be going their separate ways after 27 years of marriage back in September.
Hugh, 55, and Deborra-Lee, 67, met in 1995 on the Australian TV show Correlli, and they share two children together – son Oscar, 23, and daughter Ava, 18. They released a joint statement at the time to announce the news to the world, and said: "We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth."
They added: "Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives. This is the sole statement either of us will make."
The Divorce May Not Be As Amicable As They Had Hoped
It was assumed that, given their history and how they announced their separation, things would be amicable as they navigated their divorce and moved forward with their lives. However, that no longer seems to be the case, as Deborra-Lee reportedly unfollowed the Wolverine actor on social media after the rumors of him dating Sutton Foster – who is actually married! – began swirling; and he naturally followed suit!
As well as unfollowing her ex, Deborra-Lee has also set her Instagram profile to private, which means the Greatest Showman actor can't see what she is posting. She could just be following in the actor's footsteps and sharing pictures of herself having a good time, which Jackman has done since the news of their divorce went public, and she doesn't want him to know. Or it could also be related to their "tricky" divorce proceedings, which a source told US Weekly back in October was "gut-wrenching" for the pair.
"Their lives were so interwoven, so it's an extremely tricky and gut-wrenching process dividing everything up and figuring out who gets what in terms of assets and finances," the insider said, adding that they "need to work out" what to do with Jackman's $180M fortune.
"The [divorce] filing will be formalized in due course, but before that happens, their aim is to come to an agreement. They're determined to [do this] as amicably as possible," they added. Could the fact that the ex couple have now unfollowed each other on social media mean that they are no longer doing things amicably? Only time will tell!
Hugh Jackman And Sutton Foster Dating Rumors
According to a December 13th article in InTouch Weekly, the Les Misérables actor and the 48-year-old Younger actress – who both starred in The Music Man on Broadway in 2022 – are actually quietly dating, despite Foster being married to Ocean's Eleven screenwriter Ted Griffin. Foster and Griffin have been married since 2014, and share adoptive six-year-old daughter Emily Dale. Yikes – we feel this is going to get uglier before it gets better!
"Their romance is an open secret on Broadway," a source reportedly told the pub, while another insider said Hugh "has been besotted with Sutton from the moment he met her. He followed her around like a puppy!"
The source also said the Tony Award winning actress feels the same way about Jackman, saying she is "absolutely giddy around" him. The insider also allegedly said that meeting him when they starred in The Music Man was "the greatest thing that came out of the whole experience."
