Jennifer Lopez has been in a number of high profile relationships during her time in the spotlight, and now some of her famous exes are dishing on what it was like dating Jenny from the Block. Marc Anthony and Ben Affleck recently spoke out about their time with Lopez as she graced the cover of InStyle for the month of May, sharing the behind-the-scenes reality of the multi-talented pop star.

Anthony, whom Lopez was married to from 2004 to 2014 and shares twins Max and Emme with, revealed that his ex-wife is one of the most driven people he has ever been around, inspiring him in his own life. “She’s the first one in the room and the last to leave. The hardest worker I’ve ever met,” he shared. “When we were together, it was quite the opposite for me. That has changed since. I learned so much from her. She’s the original!”
Prior to her union with Anthony, Lopez was in a highly publicized relationship with Ben Affleck. The 48-year-old actor shared, “I thought I had a good work ethic, but I was completely humbled and blown away by what she was committed to doing day in and day out, the seriousness in which she took her work, the quiet and dedicated way she went about accomplishing her goals, and then how she would go back and redouble her efforts.” The pair worked together on “Gigli” and “Jersey Girl” after beginning their relationship in 2002.
Affleck continued to gush, “She remains, to this day, the hardest-working person I’ve come across in this business. She has great talent, but she has also worked very hard for her success, and I’m so happy for her that she seems, at long last, to be getting the credit she deserves.”
However, his awe did not stop at her dedication to her career, and he marvelled, “Where are you keeping the fountain of youth? Why do you look the same as you did in 2003 and it kind of looks like I’m in my 40s...at best?” That’s something we’d all like to know!
