Jane Fonda, 88, is one of the most beloved actresses of our time – but she has been sparking concern about her health for a while now.

Last year, on the night she received the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ at the SAG Awards, some fans thought she appeared “confused” and slightly “dazed” during a red carpet interview. And now, fans are once again worried about her health after seeing some pap pictures of her in a wheelchair at the airport. Keep reading for more information…

Jane Fonda Papped At LAX In A Wheelchair

Earlier this month, the Grace and Frankie star was papped sitting in a wheelchair outside Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), dressed in a luxurious brown fur coat, sunglasses, and gold jewelry. Check out some pics here. Many fans thought she looked "iconic" on social media, but the wheelchair did immediately concern many others.

Despite being spotted in a wheelchair, the Book Club actress doesn't appear to be in a bad way, despite grieving the recent deaths of close friends Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Reiner. Last month, she took to Instagram to say she was "reeling with grief" following the news, adding: "I saw them night before last looking healthy and happy."

According to multiple reports, the Monster-in-Law actress regularly uses wheelchair services at airports to conserve energy. It's also been reported that she sometimes uses a wheelchair in her day-to-day life due to long-term issues related to osteoporosis, which has required hip and knee replacements, as well as for fatigue or mobility support following her battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Fan Comments

"Jane Fonda in a wheelchair? When did this happen?" asked one concerned fan on Instagram, as a second clarified: "She just uses a wheelchair to save energy." "She's at the age where it is very difficult to walk through the airports. Let the queen have some dignity," echoed a third, as a fourth concurred: "She is probably fine. It's a long way to the gates. She looks great."

"She's saving her energy, good for her. JF is a living legend. She still looks amazing too. Never a day off," gushed a fifth, as a sixth joked: "How I would like to roll up to the airport." "I'd do it. Especially at terminal 4," noted a seventh.

"This is my favorite actress of all time! Gotta protect her at all cost! And she's still beautiful and stylish sitting in that wheelchair!" exclaimed an eighth, as a ninth declared: "Protect Jane at all costs!" "She's iconic," noted a tenth, followed by the fire emoji.

"I hope she's going somewhere fabulous – it's where she belongs," raved an eleventh, as a twelfth wrote: "She is iconic so chic as always." "Legendary," added a thirteenth fan, followed by the twinkling stats emoji.
