Jennifer Aniston Opens Up About What She Believes Is The Secret To Aging Gracefully
The 56-year-old is back in the spotlight and working hard as the new season of her AppleTV hit The Morning Show premiered its second season a few weeks ago. Now, she's giving more and more interviews, where she's also been opening up about more personal things in her life.
More recently, she and some of her Morning Show co-stars, including Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Beharie, and Marion Cotillard, sat down for an interview with Glamour magazine. At one point, during a quick question-and-answer session, the French actress noted how great Jennifer looks, complimenting her as someone who has aged gracefully throughout her career, which has spanned almost 30 years.
The Friends icon thanked her co-star and began speaking about what she believes is the key to looking and feeling your best as you get older, and it doesn't have to do with surgeries.
"That means so much to me. We didn't have that [those kinds of role models growing up]," she said. "And I think as far as aging gracefully, I have an eternal fountain of optimism and positivity. Call it youth if you want. But I think it all starts with how we love our bodies and love where we are."
Jennifer Says That She's Been 'Maintaining' Her Appearance Over The Years
For the last ten years, so many people have been wanting to know the actress's "secrets" to aging and beauty, given that she's continued to look great and confident after reaching a certain age. What's notable about her transformation is also that she doesn't look as though she's had any kind of procedure, or if she has, it's incredibly subtle and natural-looking.
Jennifer hinted at the plastic surgery rumors that surround her career from time to time, but didn't seem to give in to them in this recent interview, as she mentioned nothing about them. Instead, she kept it real, noting that she does utilize powerful treatments to enhance her natural looks, without completely altering her face with something more irreversible.
"I'm not going to say I don't get the facials and the lasers and all that good stuff," she admitted. "I mean, I'm maintained. I'm not going to just go down and let these gray hairs take over. So it's perspective, and also knowing that this is our one body. It's a mindset. So it means a lot to me to hear that from Marion, who I think is a walking beam of sunshine and love and beauty and talent."
