Jennifer Garner is the queen of minimalist style—like the summer-ready crisp white blazer she recently wore for the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. And now, the Alias star has stunned again on the red carpet for a charity event. On Thursday, May 18th, Jennifer and a friend hosted the Rockout/Knockout Event which benefitted The St. Helena Hospital Foundation and early cancer detection. For the event, the 51-year-old actress wowed in an off-the-shoulder white dress from Princess Kate Middleton’s favorite brand: Alexander McQueen.

Jennifer Garner Glows In An Off-The-Shoulder White Alexander McQueen Gown For A Charity Event
Jennifer turned heads on the red carpet. For the event, The Last Thing He Told Me star sported a white, off-the-shoulder midi dress by Alexander McQueen that stopped right before her ankles. The gown featured a pleated design, a fitted bodice, puffy sleeves, and pockets (!). The pockets allowed Jennifer to hide her hands while she posed for photos.
She paired the look with “Heloise” tan sky-high platform sandals by Jimmy Choo. Jennifer’s breezy white summer dress is fit for a princess—and it’s definitely something Kate would wear. The Duchess has had a long relationship with the British fashion brand.
The actress accessorized with a pair of gold hoop earrings from Melinda Maria Jewelry, two delicate chain necklaces, and a gold bracelet. She styled her relaxed, blown-out lob hair in slight waves. Jennifer opted for a no-fuss makeup look to let her outfit speak for itself, with dark eyeliner, a light pink lip, and pink blush.
Fan Comments
She shared photos from the night on her Instagram and wrote, “To honor her mother’s memory, Elyse has raised over $13M for cancer research and early detection. Our first party together was in 2002, 19 years later I’ve hosted five of Elyse’s twelve fundraisers—she says, ‘No one ever says no to me!’. This year’s ROCKOUT/KNOCKOUT Cancer event will fund a pilot program to provide free early detection cancer screenings for Napa Valley agricultural workers and first responders, as well as bolster cancer care at @shhospitalfoundation.”
