Jennifer Garner And John Miller Are Reportedly Trying Couples Therapy
Affleck's now ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, was reportedly unhappy with Garner always getting involved in their relationship due to Affleck always confiding in her. And it seems like Affleck is now doing the same thing by becoming a constant third-wheel in Garner and Miller's relationship. We imagine Garner and Miller are keen to resolve their issues before they also head down the same path as Affleck and Lopez and break up for good!
Talking about their decision to try couples therapy following Affleck's constant presence in their relationship, a source told RadarOnline: "Jen and John have been having this same conversation for nearly a year, and no matter how many times she promises to handle things differently, she always seems to slip back into the same dynamic with Ben."
"It's becoming clear that therapy may be the only way they can resolve this issue, so they're looking for a good counsellor they can trust," the insider continued, adding: "Hopefully couples therapy will work out better for Jen and John."
John Miller Reportedly Wants Jennifer Garner To 'Set Better Boundaries' With Ex Ben Affleck
The insider also explained how Miller has been treating the situation with the Deadpool & Wolverine actress and the Gone Girl actor, and suggested that his patience could be wearing thin! Co-parenting their children, Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 13, is one thing, but Affleck's constant neediness is another, which is why Miller is reportedly keen to set some boundaries once and for all!
"John has been so patient with the whole Ben situation, but it's really grating on him. He loves Jennifer and doesn't want to lose her, but there's only so long he can stand having a third wheel in this relationship before he cracks," the insider shared.
"John is demanding that she set better boundaries with Ben. He's not asking her to boot him from her life completely, but he's sick and tired of being made to look like some sort of fool," the insider went on.
They added: "Ben is always over at the house and usually stays for dinner, and he's there on every holiday of the year, too. No matter how hard Garner tries to distance herself from Affleck, he hangs around like gum stuck to the bottom of her shoe."
