Just when we thought we had reached the peak of stylish celebrities in Venice this summer, in comes Jennifer Lopez to steal the sartorial crown!
Emphasis on the word crown, as the 51-year-old (yes, we are always shocked when we have to write that number!) actress and singer looked the epitome of modern royalty in her jewel encrusted outfit, which she debuted at the Dolce and Gabbana Alta Moda show in Venice on Sunday night.

We always knew that Jennifer Lopez could dazzle on a red carpet, but now she has done so quite literally with her latest ensemble. She took to the red carpet in a bedazzling Dolce and Gabbana bra top, which she teamed with matching floral satin high-waisted trousers and sky scraping jewel encrusted platform heels, also courtesy of the Italian fashion house.
But that wasn’t all, as she finished off with a floor-length cape that added the sartorial cherry on top of her already extravagant outfit. And to top it all off, her hair accessories were moulded into the shape of a crown, just in case it wasn’t obvious that she was going for a royal theme. Who else but J-Lo?

Jennifer Lopez is currently in Venice for the prestigious film festival, and is expected to walk alongside her new/but old/but new again beau Ben Affleck on the red carpet for the premiere his new movie, The Last Duel, starring Matt Damon and Jodie Comer. This will be the first red carpet the couple will have officially walked since getting back together. Their last red carpet appearance as a couple was way back in 2003.
We hope the movie does actually get some recognition, as we have a feeling that Jennifer Lopez will be pulling focus on the red carpet and commanding all of the attention.
