This move is not a shock, however, the pair no longer live together or vacation together and have been spotted in public on numerous occasions not wearing their wedding rings. Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on August 20th, 2024, two years after their traditional wedding ceremony. Their official marriage date was July 16th in Las Vegas, but they celebrated with a big wedding with friends and family in Georgia in August. The 55-year-old filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court and listed April 26, 2024 as the date of separation. She filed for divorce herself without using a lawyer and is technically self-represented.
“She tried really hard to make things work, and is heartbroken,” a source told People. “The kids are a top priority, as they always have been,” they noted. Jennifer Lopez recently canceled her world tour, citing wanting to spend more time with family as the reason behind the cancellation.
