Jennifer Lopez is no stranger to being slammed for her “rude” behavior.
And 2026 doesn’t appear to be the year she’s changing, as a clip from the 83rd annual Golden Globes earlier this month shows her seemingly ignoring – and giving “zero eye contact” to – a well-loved cameraman on the red carpet.

Jennifer Lopez Seemingly Ignores Cameraman On The Golden Globes Red Carpet
In a TikTok video that has since gone viral, the 56-year-old “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer can be seen on the red carpet preparing for her ‘Glambot’ video, where she was set to show off her head-turning Jean-Louis Scherrer by Stéphane Rolland gown.
A photographer – later identified as Cole Walliser – can be heard saying, “lovely to see you again, you look amazing,” as she gets ready for the shoot. Throughout the interaction, the JLo Beauty mogul keeps her eyes down, looking at the floor rather than the cameraman or even the camera.
When he asks her how she’d like to pose for the video, the Hustlers star neither looks at him nor acknowledges him in any way, leaving him seemingly talking to himself. The moment quickly sparked backlash online, with Instagram and TikTok users branding her behavior “rude,” not just during the Golden Globes, but throughout her life in general.
Social Media Reactions
"She didn't even acknowledge him," observed one user. "She gave him zero eye contact," echoed a second, as a third said: "She didn't say one word."
A fourth called her "such a rude and unfriendly woman," as a fifth said she was "awful," and sixth said she was "incredibly rude," while a seventh called her "obnoxious." "She's not iconic enough to act this way," slammed an eighth, as a ninth asked: "Are you guys surprised? Because I'm not."
"She doesn't see him as a relevant person. Just the camera," thought a tenth, in reference to the cameraman, as an eleventh questioned: "How can anyone EVER be rude to Cole?!"
A twelfth replied: "He's the kindest sweetest guy! Everyone loves him at awards shows. J-Lo is a diva and always lives up to thinking that she's an A-List triple threat singer dancer and actress." "J-Lo is J-Lo's biggest fan," concurred a thirteenth.
