Could Jennifer Lopez Get Back With Alex Rodriguez If She And Ben Affleck Split?
According to the Daily Mail, an insider claimed that the "On the Floor" hitmaker could be considering getting back with the 48-year-old former baseball star, who she was with between 2017 and 2021. They were even engaged, but called off the engagement due to rumors that Rodriguez was unfaithful.
"He was always her best match," the insider reportedly told the pub, adding: "I don't think cheating is a dealbreaker for her anymore." The insider went on to speculate that she may quietly date the former New York Yankee – or another suitor – before announcing her split with her current husband. "I think she won't announce the split until she has someone else lined up in any case," the insider shared, before going on to sing the baseball star's praises.
They "were matched in terms of the lifestyle, the looks, the grooming, the private jets and all the rest of it," the source said, adding: "They were great together; they were a good match. We would not be surprised if they got together again. It was a long-term relationship and their families got really close, they were blended."
Alex Rodriguez Is Currently Dating Jaclyn Cordeiro
There is one potential problem with this theory though: Rodriguez currently has a girlfriend, and one who he seems to love very much! The baseball star is dating 44-year-old fitness instructor Jaclyn 'Jac' Cordeiro, with the couple making their relationship Instagram official in December 2023.
He has raved about his girlfriend on several occasions, and even credited her with helping him lose weight and get back into shape. Speaking to Us Weekly last year about how Cordeiro has helped him and countless others on their fitness journeys, Rodriguez said: "What I love about what she's done in JacFit and the amount of people that she's influenced is the reaction that I see from people to her. It's really mind-blowing."
He also mentioned that her previous work as a nurse has been a huge plus with her work as a fitness instructor, and said: "I see what she's done in my life, with my health. She comes at it from a very proactive place and helps you get in tremendous shape so you hopefully don't have to be sick and prevent any type of health issues. She's used to taking care of people that are sick."
