Jennifer Love Hewitt Steps Out For The 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' Premiere In Los Angeles

On Monday, July 14th, numerous celebrities showed up at the United Theater on Broadway in Los Angeles for the premiere of the latest legacy sequel, I Know What You Did Last Summer. The original film was released in 1997, and Jennifer Love Hewitt, who is known for being an 'it girl' of the 90s and early 2000s, is reprising her role from the first two films. Other returning actors include Freddie Prinze Jr., and some of the new faces starring in the 2025 rendition are Madelyn Cline, Jonah Hauer-King, and more.

Jennifer's appearance on the red carpet was undoubtedly a highlight of the evening, as she stepped out in a figure-hugging beaded black dress with thin spaghetti straps. The tight dress had a long skirt that ended just above her ankles, but stayed close to her figure to show off her naturally curvy frame.

The Ghost Whisperer actress paired her dress with some coordinating black stilettos with silver embellishments and debuted a new light auburn hair color with a red tinge.

Fans Praise Jennifer's 'Natural' Curves On Social Media

After the premiere ended and pictures of the Texas native on the red carpet went viral, fans took to social media platforms not only to comment on how excited they were for the new summer thriller, but also how amazing she looked Monday night.

On Instagram, users wrote about how "refreshing" it was to see an actress in her 40s embrace her naturally curvy body type instead of trying to mask or suppress it. One user called Jennifer a "real woman showing her naturally gorgeous body!"

"Those are the curves of a real, natural woman, and she looks great," wrote another adoring fan.

Other Instagram users referenced the famous John Mayer song on the platform, commenting, "Your body is a wonderland," as there were rumors that he had written it about the 9-1-1 star.

Another fan commented, "She's stunning!"

"Aging like fine wine," they continued.

It's no secret that there's still a lot of love circulating for Jennifer out there, and we're excited to see if her appearance in the new I Know What You Did Last Summer means we'll be seeing more of her.
