She threw a green, short-sleeved button-up on as a bit of a cover-up and completed the look with white sunglasses. A navy blue baseball cap with "USA" printed on it rested on her vanity in the steamy mirror selfie.
And of course, Simpson chose the perfect song to soundtrack her Instagram story: "American Girl" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
All in all, she's glowing, and her newfound confidence is truly shining alongside her love of the USA.
