If you haven’t seen the most recent TikToks, there’s a certain lyric of hers that’s making a comeback: “Don’t you think nineteen’s too young?” And it looks like Mayer is not planning on changing his habits anytime soon. Most recently, the singer, 43, was spotted out with Cazzie David, 26. To save you from doing the math, that’s a 17-year age gap.

David, the daughter of Larry David, previously dated SNL's Pete Davidson. However, the question of whether or not she has moved on with Mayer is still up in the air. Although the duo have been spotted out together in both NYC and LA, there's a very real possibility that it's simply a platonic friendship.
A source told E! News that there is nothing romantic about their relationship and that Mayer is still single. That's not enough to stop speculation though.
Fans have also noticed that both Mayer and David frequently like one another's posts on Instagram. This is far from their only social media interaction. David previously appeared on Mayer's Instagram Live show Current Mood, and things got very personal. During the show, David asked him if he ever played his own music for dates.
"If it's after a show and a girl asks me to sing 'Your Body is a Wonderland,' do you want to be the kind of guy who goes, 'No,' or do you want to be the kind of guy that goes like, 'We've got the afternoon...?'" he answered, per E!. "You want to play along."
Mayer has previously quipped about his single life and his rocky past when it comes to dating. Back in 2019, a fan on Instagram asked him, "How are you still single?"
