The cast of Full House has been dodging questions about co-star Lori Loughlin since it was revealed that she was involved in the college admissions scandal back in March.
Now, the show's star John Stamos is finally speaking out.
Stamos sat down with Entertainment Tonight's Nancy O'Dell to talk about the upcoming season of Fuller House and explained that the scandal has been a "difficult situation for everyone involved."
"I don't mean just our side," Stamos added. "It's just been hard."
The star also said that he's not sure how the show will handle Loughlin's absence this season. He admitted that the cast and crew has not discussed the storylines yet and that he was going to "talk to some people" this week and try to "figure it out."
"I haven't been on the show yet, so, it hasn't come up," Stamos said.
News broke that Loughlin was not returning to Fuller House shortly after she was arrested. There haven't been any updates on Loughlin's case since April when the star pleaded not guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and honest services mail and wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering.
